We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst who knows how to bridge the gap between what the business needs and what the team builds, turning ambiguity into actionable, well-crafted requirements that drive real outcomes.

At Darkmoon Innovations, you’ll play a central role in shaping how products are defined, refined, and delivered — working closely with Product Owners, architects, developers, and business stakeholders in a fast-moving agile environment.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

• Requirements & Backlog Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements — translating them into clear epics, user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria. Support the Product Owner in maintaining and prioritising a well-defined, delivery-ready product backlog.

• Documentation & Standards: Draft requirements to IEEE standard using an RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix) and guide the team on best practices. Create and maintain process flows using MS Visio, risk logs, action trackers, and design issue logs from stakeholder workshops.

• Workshops & Strategy: Lead and facilitate workshops with project stakeholders to design and review business process flows and requirements. Draft a Design Strategy & Plan in collaboration with the project manager, clearly communicating deliverables and timelines.

• Liaison & Process Optimization: Serve as the liaison between Operations and IT, gathering requirements for system modifications, enhancements, and new implementations. Assess business processes to identify inefficiencies, duplication, and waste — and propose actionable improvements.

• Testing & Methodology: Support UAT preparation and execution, ensuring design integrity from test sizing through to business requirements alignment. Champion agile practices while maintaining full awareness of Waterfall methodologies where required.

🎯 What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex IT or digital product environments.

• Full command of Agile and Waterfall BA methodologies and when to apply each.

• Proven experience writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items that teams can act on immediately.

• Strong ability to create process flows in MS Visio and produce IEEE-standard documentation using RTMs.

• Confidence to challenge stakeholders constructively, negotiating expectations while maintaining quality standards.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills — turning complex findings into easy-to-understand insights.

• Awareness of broader process architecture and the ability to align project work to strategic vision.

• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with rigorous attention to detail.
